“ My wife and I are trying new restaurants for breakfast so to the Toasted Yolk on Washington Avenue we go. The restaurant has great ambiance bright and inviting. The hostess was very nice and friendly she validated the parking and gave us our options for seating. The waitress Nelly was extremely friendly she took our orders after giving us time to check out the menu. I got the Brisket tacos and the cheese grits and my wife got the Egg and cake.We waited approximately 10 minutes or less before the food arrived. The brisket tacos were delicious with pico de sauce and a green sauce and they were not too spicy. Very filling. My wife definitely liked her French toast that is the cake part of the egg and cake it comes with grits or potatoes and a meat over all we had a great breakfast. ”

“ My absolute favorite breakfast restaurant! My only regret, not coming here sooner. I had the best chicken and waffles ever, and they are not even in the menu. So if you want to try them, ask for them. The chicken was done just right, juicy and tasty. And you don't have to break the bank eating here. Our waitress Danielle gave us great service! ”
“ Were to begin the food was amazing and the staff my wife and I had a ultrasound, to determine the gender of the baby and Erin our waitress help us out. She surprised us I gave her a envelope and it had the gender on it she brought us French toast with blueberrys shaped in the letter B. Thank you toasted yolk and staff for that experience. ”
“ Great place in a great location. Whether you’re doing take out or dine in, it’s always a great experience, and all the workers there are super friendly. They have a large menu so you’ll be able to find something for anyone in your group, and their bar/drink menu is also pretty extensive. While everything I’ve tried is great, their signature hashbrown casserole is a MUST try. Hard to go wrong though with anything on the menu. ”
“ My first time here and I really enjoyed it! I had the southern fried Arnold and it was so good. The chicken was season well and was crunchy. The biscuit was fluffy and the gravy and eggs were great. The hash brown casserole was good and seemed like there was cheese in them, maybe. They’re on the soft side, so not a crunchy type of hash brown. We got the churro style donuts and those came out fresh and warm. So good! Comes with a caramel sauce. Not pictured are the “kid-sized” pancakes my 4 year old got. They were so big! Not complaining at all, just was not expecting it. If you have two small children, they could probably share one order of kid pancakes. ”
